Antiblocking additives have the purpose of preventing manufactured articles from getting stuck during the extrusion phase, increasing the flow factor with relative increase in productivity.
During storage, it facilitates the opening of the finished product’s bags and/or the detachment in the vertical direction of overlaid manufactured items.
Some antiblocking additives also function as slip additives.
Possible processing problems
An excess of additive can give rise to problems of labeling, inking, and weldability of the finished product.
